Having dominated morning television and anchored the evening news, broadcaster Katie Couric is now set to tackle daytime. Katie Couric announced a deal today for a daytime talk show to start in the fall of 2012. She brings a background in both celebrity interviewing and hard news to a crowded field. ABC, which is losing Oprah Winfrey, is gaining Katie Couric. The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal both reported today (Monday) that a deal between the network and Couric is expected to be announced as early as today. UPDATE ABC has confirmed...
