Nicki Minaj has been out and about making friends in the most unlikely of quarters as she has buddied up with Kristen Stewart. This is a good tactic for her after she made enough enemies to last her a lifetime. Well, just one major enemy. However, it is Lil Kim and she's more bitter than a thousand middle aged divorcees. So how did the pair meet? It was at the MTV Movie Awards where Minaj presented Kristen with her award for Best Female Performance (Emma Watson eat your heart out!). While the pair seem have very contrasting personalities thee was no clash of in your face loudness verses a more introverted quietness. In fact Nicki Minaj had this to say about their meeting backstage: "Kristen had shoes on that didn't hurt her feet. And she didn't care that they looked really kind of crusty. But I did too! I had my Uggs on backstage. So that made me bond with her. She's cute." We hope Minaj can get K-Stew to start making some outrageous comments. We're big fans but we'd love to see her blow up and finally slag someone off. It'd be ... What's more embarrassing than public apologies? Saying something and being proven totally wrong about it. Celebs make bold statements and predictions and it's always worse when they have to face the fact that they were just talking stupid yang. To Sister Kim's Nuptials?... Lil Kim was spotted in Zimbabwe this weekend for the country's Zar Fest alongside Fat Joe, Timbaland, DJ Scratch and Ciara. Kim took the stage Saturday for the first day of the four day fest donning a leather dress and Poor little Kimberly Jones. Is ANYONE other than her staff and twitter fans holding her down these days? Eve, being a female rapper, was of course asked to way in on the Kim vs. Nicki Minaj 'beef' during an interview Vibe: > In a recent trip to BBC's Radio 1 Xtra, female rap veteran Eve touched on the Lil' Kim vs Nicki Minaj beef. In the interview the first lady of Ruff Ryders gave her advice to Kim and how she should handle the feud: > > "I need her to stop. If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. Because she's Kim, period," Eve said in an interview. "So she never has to feed. She shouldn't. It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you…" Read and comment. From vibe.com. Filed under: Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop News AP Photo/Dan Steinberg Lil' Kim may not be a fan of Nicki Minaj, but she still has tons of loyal admirers. The Young Money MC recently responded to being named the new Queen of Hip-Hop by Rolling Stone, a title that she's honored to have. "It was very, very amazing to me," Minaj told Funkmaster Flex on an episode of 'Funk Flex Full Throttle' on MTV2. The magazine surprised the Queens native with the title, only telling her that she was doing a standard photo shoot and interview. "When I saw the caption on my website, I hit my publicist like, 'Did you guys know they were going to call me the new queen of hip-hop?' I was so excited 'cause they're really respected, and then when I went on all the TV shows, they kept on saying, 'she's been dubbed the New Queen of Hip-Hop by Rolling Stone magazine,' so I was like, that happened at the perfect time." Since dropping her 'Pink Friday' debut in November, the 26-year-old has been going non-stop. She made history as the first female rapper to have seven songs grace the Billboard Hot ... Filed under: Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop News Ethan Miller, Getty Images for ABC While Nicki Minaj's hairstyle was toned down from her usual fluorescent, skyscraper updo at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, the singer's performance was anything but ordinary. "I ain't talking poultry when I say this chicken's fried," Minaj commanded a group of bobbed-hair Barbies -- Minaj's pet name for her fans -- in a chant at the top of the performance. The line is a reported diss at Lil' Kim -- who has repeatedly taken verbal jabs at Minaj for copying her wig-wearing style -- from Minaj's verse on Britney Spears' 'Till the World Ends (Remix.)' The chant was interrupted when a chicken ran across the stage and tore off Minaj's outfit. Minaj was up for Top Rap Album, Top Rap Artist and Top New Artist at the award show, but left empty-handed. Country-pop crossover Taylor Swift, a fan of the raptress, introduced Minaj noting she is the first female rapper with seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Sunday (May 22) evening, Minaj was also the only female rapper nominated in the Top Rap Album and Top Rap Artist categories, among stiff competition like Eminem, Kanye ... So Selena Gomez has annoyed Pink with her latest video. And when Pink get's angry what does she do? Yes that's right, she vents on Twitter as has now become the default for a celebrity. To be fair though this isn't just a mild complaint, nor is it a standard "I wore that wig first" kind of Minaj/Lil Kim affair, designed to get publicity for the person making the complaint. Instead Selena Gomez is being chewed out for animal cruelty, or at least not taking the opportunity to stop animal cruelty on the set of her latest video. Here's what Pink had to say: If there are any animal activists around Malibu - at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame… Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions. Interestingly Pink had no idea this was Selena's record. That is of course until the "Let's make Selena4ever trend #Selena4ever" twitter brigade got together to show their collective, only just post pubescent, might. oh lord, THAT'S whose video it was? Getty Images Lil' Kim's well-publicized beef with Nicki Minaj extended to include Keyshia Cole late last year, when the R&B singer recruited Minaj to drop a verse on her single 'I Ain't Thru.' During a January concert in Springfield, Mass., Lil Kim publicly called out Cole and Minaj for the track but things eventually subsided, until the Queen B and Cole clashed publicly on Twitter on Wednesday (May 18). "N while we're addressing everything, Lil Kim and I a r not "friends" I take that term very seriously,' Cole wrote on Twitter today. "We made wonderful music. That is it." Kim, who was irritated by the singer's decision to collaborate with Nicki Minaj, after she contributed a verse to Cole's hit single 'Let It Go,' immediately went on the offensive. "U got that right. We are not friends. The same way U take friendship seriously i take loyalty serious," Kim wrote, and then continued with a series of messages. Filed under: Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop News Tim Mosenfelder, Getty Images Nicki Minaj wants to take her career to the next level and she doesn't want any help from Sean "Diddy" Combs. Minaj was rumored to have signed a management deal with Diddy sometime last year, but it looks like she's skipped out on the hip-hop mogul and has gone with management company Hip Hop Since 1978 instead. XXL.com is reporting that the Queens native fired Diddy because he wasn't "hands on enough," and signed with the management company owned by Gee Roberson and Kyambo "Hip-Hop" Joshua. Ironically, Roberson and Joshua once worked on Lil' Kim's 2005 debut, 'The Naked Truth,' when they were employed as A&Rs for Atlantic Records. Kim and Minaj have been engaged in a verbal beef for the last year or so, with the brunt of the blows coming from the Queen Bee, who feels that the 26-year-old jacked her style. Kimmy Blanco joined the Queens duo onstage last Thursday (May 12) at New York City's Best Buy Theater, for a performance of the 'Quiet Storm' remix. Kim, who has been focusing the brunt of her energy on hating Nicki Minaj as of late, reminded fans that her Queen Bee status is far from being revoked.
