McDonald's posted global comparable sales growth of 3.1% in May but witnessed a relatively downward movement on a year-over-year basis. I would completely buy the debate about insuling Tebow being uncool, if the huge hate-fest didnt originate against Orton. I agree that he has fallen apart way too many times in the 4th quarter. but pound for pound... I see at least a dozen other players that are much more abcesses at their positions than Orton was at his. Orton isnt the answer, but Tebow fans have taken to him viciously as an inroad to promote their all-american boy. I dont like to consider myself a mean-spirited person at all. But sarcasm and irony are all that's left wen rationality and sensibility have long-sinced stepped aside for this Tebow hijacking. From where I see it, McDaniels started it all by floundering so badly his first season, that instead of improving weaknesses in he defense, he got tw backups at the price of a franchise RB and four draft picks. McDanels, with his stubborn ego, wanted people to rememer why he was hired. Tebow was his insurance policy. Nothing against Tim Tebow the person, but he is still the stink of Jsh McDanies. So there's that. Plus... legitimate knocks. Myself, DD, HH, Vino, others have pointed out these concerns that are still valid. We get flamed for sacrelidge. So ... We maintain our Neutral recommendation on Wendy's/Arby's Group. China Integrated Energy, Inc. recently announced that they had appointed Liren Wen to their Board as an independent director. Wen would also be serving as a member of the Board's audit committee. The appointment was effective as of May 31, 2011. Mr. Wei is a certified public accountant of the State of New York. He [. Sky Sports reports that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out any potential move to Manchester United for midfielder Samir Nasri. Wenger told French radio station RTL that the 23 year old will not be heading to Old Trafford, after reports that fellow Frenchman and Manchester United left back Patrice Evra had been trying to persuade Nasri to sign with the champions. BEIJING — North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong Il met China's president on a state visit to reaffirm close ties and increase cooperation on economic development, China's official media confirmed Thursday, indicating the trip was over. Since Friday, there has been speculation Kim was on a secretive visit to China to appeal for food aid and study the economic reforms enacted by China. The confirmation by state broadcaster CCTV and the Xinhua News Agency was a clear indication that the visit had ended since neither Beijing nor Pyongyang confirm Kim's visits until after he returns to North Korea. Premier Wen Jiabao, however, did take the unusual step of telling South Korea's prime minister that Beijing had invited Kim to China, expressly to study its economic reforms. Government representatives warned of environmental, construction and migration "disasters" in the midst of the worst drought to hit southern China in 50 years. KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysia will start exporting durians to mainland China from July in a bid to challenge Thailand's virtual monopoly on shipments of the spiky, stinky delicacy that many Southeast Asians hail as "the king of fruits." The breakthrough for Malaysia's agriculture industry comes after Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited Kuala Lumpur last month and agreed to allow the entry of Malaysian durians. U.N. trade statistics estimate that Thai shipments accounted for 99 percent of about 1.4 million pounds (635,000 kilograms) of imported durians received by mainland China and Macau in 2009. Kim arrived in the ancient capital by car from nearby Yangzhou, where he reportedly visited an industrial park and a shopping center, the Yonhap News agency said. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has confirmed Kim's visit, saying China invited him to study and hopefully adopt Beijing's market-oriented reforms that have transformed the economy into the world's second largest. Kim arrived in the eastern Chinese city of Yangzhou late Sunday after crossing the border Friday in his special train, South Korea's Yonhap news agency and YTN television reported. By agreement, Beijing and Pyongyang usually announce Kim's visits only after he has crossed back into North Korea, but Wen was quoted in a statement as telling South Korean President Lee Myung-bak that Beijing invited Kim to give the North Koreans "a chance to understand the Chinese development and use it for their own development." The projects would allow North Korea to profit as a broker for Chinese exports, but don't signify any further liberalization of the North's centrally planned economy, said Ian Davies, an Australian consultant who worked on a U.N. project to develop the area during the 1990s. China invited North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il, who began his seventh trip there on Friday, to learn more about its economic development, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao told South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.
