As the UK -- or some parts of it, at least -- prepares to revel in the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday, April 29, Morrissey was predictably less than enthused about the event. Speaking on BBC Radio 4 (via BBC News), the former Smiths frontman talked about his nickname for Middleton -- "Kate Muddleton" -- and took time to lament the British monarchy. The blabbermouth media formed a stampede over the weekend in a rush to publish a new round of Wikileaks documents on al Qaeda and Guantanamo Bay. The Memeorandum round-up is here and the breathless tick-tock on how lib outlets stepped all over each other to get the "scoops" is here. David Morrissey will soon be strutting and fretting in his old Liverpool haunts and Jonathan Slinger in the new arena at Stratford. But first, Belt Up Theatre, a company of 20-year-olds that immerses the audience in a play's action, has made a site-specific promenade production. It's not always thrilling but it is, well, arresting. The Clerkenwell House of Detention – a 17th-century prison – is a place of retribution as well as incarceration. Another researcher, this time from Katana Forensics, says otherwise. "Apple is not harvesting this data from your device," said Kata Forensics lead engineer Alex Levinson. "This is data on the device that you as the customer purchased and unless [O'Reilly] can show concrete evidence supporting this claim – network traffic analysis of connections to Apple servers – I rebut this claim in full. Through my research in this field and all traffic analysis I have performed, not once have I seen this data traverse a network."
