Vintage Camera Pillows: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic? Totally geeky! Geek chic! Saturday is the first full day of marriage for Prince William and his new bride, Kate Middleton. The royal couple was wed Friday at Westminster Abbey, capturing attention around the planet. Much of the build-up focused on how foreigners, especially Americans, seemed more obsessed about the event than people in Britain. Still, thousands of Britons flocked to the wedding. NPR's David Greene went to find out what they were looking for. Kick off the weekend with these links: London calling! 'Empire State of Mind,' an unauthorized biography of the rapper penned by longtime Forbes writer Zach O'Malley Greenburg, is positioned to fill in many of the blanks surrounding the rapper's business dealings, pulling from interviews with some of Hov's colleagues and business partners willing to dish the dirt on how he rose to fame and fortune. Greenburg, who was approached by publishing company Penguin Books, set out to tell a story that straddles the fence in its portrayal of Jay, thus leaving it up to the reader to make the final judgment. Working on the book from 2009 through the better half of 2010, the seasoned journalist spoke with the likes of Roots drummer Questlove, former friend Jaz-O, Atlantic Records CEO Craig Kallman and Jay's most outspoken former business partner Dame Dash to fill the pages of his book. "I think he's just tired of talking about [his relationship with Jay-Z] honestly," Greenburg told the BoomBox of Dash. "The ... If it seems that the royal wedding has been taking over the Internet the past few weeks, that's probably because it has. According to new Webtrends analytics, Prince William and Kate's nuptials has been creating more of a buzz than the Japan earthquake and the Egypt civil uprising, even before the wedding events ever began! Even more surprising? Most of the social media and web chatter is coming from the US. In fact, Americans are creating 45 percent more buzz than Brits. Talk about royally-obsessed! Talk about taking on a challenge: EgoPo Classic Theater's artistic director, Lane Savadove, and local actor Ross Beschler set about adapting a 1908 French novel called L'Enfer, or Hell, to the stage. The book, by Henri Barbusse, was scandalous because of its subject - an obsessed voyeur who observes the dark side of life through a hole in the wall of his rented room. The numbers don't lie. The audience for one of the creepier shows on television leans pretty far left. Checking off her to-do list along the way, Ginnifer Goodwin was spotted out and about as she ran errands in New York City earlier today (April 28). The 32-year-old, who is in the Big Apple to promote her upcoming romantic comedy "Something Borrowed," sported a neutral blazer, black and white patterned shirt, blue jeans and a pair of flats during her outing. Ginnifer is readying herself for tomorrow's (April 29) Royal Wedding, telling WENN that she will indeed be one of the millions tuning in to the Westminster Abbey celebration, saying, "I'll be watching 100 per cent. Kate Middleton is our Cinderella. I'm obsessed and enthralled. I'm a big fan. They are a living fairytale those two." Goodwin continued, "The little girl in me who always wanted to play a princess is extraordinarily happy that Kate Middleton gets to be one. It's a relationship that has overcome some obstacles that are outside of their control and purely based on love and there's nothing more epic than that." Xbox 360/PS3/PC; £39.99; cert 15+; Codemasters The Operation Flashpoint first-person shooters have always appealed to a particular constituency: gamers obsessed with the military (along the lines of Nick Frost's character Mike in Spaced). That's because they are about as hardcore as you can get: unlike more mass-market fps games, if you take a head-shot, you won't be getting back up, and in order to prosper, you will have to adopt tactics that real-life soldiers would employ. While Red River is much more forgiving than its predecessors, it will still test your soldiering skills to the limit, and remains firmly in the hardcore bracket. You play Kirby, leader of a four-man US Marine Corps fire-team operating in Tajikistan, close to the Afghanistan border, in 2013. At first, you're taking on local insurgents, but things really heat up when the Chinese army gets involved, with its seemingly endless manpower. The missions are very long, multistage affairs which typically involve taking on enemies from a distance (so we'd recommend you choose the Scout class, with its sniper rifle). Involving periods of being driven around in the back of a Hummer, engaging in authentically expletive-studded Marine-banter, they feel stunningly authentic, and ... Some have accused the president of getting into Harvard solely because of race. That's the least persuasive criticism of him we've ever heard He's been on a non-stop promotional tour for "Water for Elephants" and earlier today (April 28) Robert Pattinson was spotted in Paris, France. The "Remember Me" stud looked cool and casual as he strolled past fans and press and headed into his luxury hotel. In a recent interview, Rob explained that he's fearful for Kate Middleton as she marries Prince William because of the pressures of fame that she'll have to deal with. "It's going to be hard for her because people will lay responsibilities on her that seem totally irrelevant. You can't mess up either. I'll definitely be watching the royal wedding. I mean, they're absolutely obsessed with it. It's insane but I guess it's kind of a big deal. Actually, I think it's really sort of fascinating." ROBERT Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are "obsessed" with each other! Sources say the couple -- who got together while filming the Twilight movies -- are more in love than ever! "They're madly in love," dished one insider. "They are so close they almost have their own language between them. They feel like they couldn't ever be with anyone [...] Classifying every kind of life form isn't an easy task.
